Web Design and SEO Burton
Hi my names Michael Kehoe welcome to the website. I first made it when I was at university for a module. Since I left uni it has been totally unused. Until now.
I work as a web designer and I have recently I have become interested in
SEO. Its a competitive industry and that appeals to me, I was inspired by someone in Manchester who says he is a novice in SEO.
Despite being a novice, they have managed get to the top of the Google rankings for the search term SEO Manchester. That it what I would like to do with my website with the search term "SEO Burton" so click the link to the bottom of the page to see how my SEO Burton experiment is going.
SEO Burton Experiment
Let me just introduce what the SEO Burton experiment is all about then we can start.
I recently took a college course in SEO and what I realised was that nobody knows for sure what will make successful SEO because the search engines don't tell us.
You can find a mountain of advice on the matter but I want to see how these work when they are put into action. There are plenty of myths surrounding wha makes good SEO. I want to ge rid of these myths as thry could be the cause of a lot of wasted time.
So every once in a while I will change the SEO techniques I have been using and then search for "SEO Burton" in Google.
I'm sure you can imagine, "SEO Burton" is a competitive search term and it is used by just the sort of people who know exactly what they're doing.
I will be interested to see how i will cope in the fight for rankings in the term SEO Burton and what SEO techniques seem to work.
I need to achieve as high a position as possible to show my crediblity as an SEO consultant. An appearance on page one is the aim and would show I can compete with the big boys of SEO in Burton.
