Web Design and SEO Ilkeston
Hi I’m Michael Kehoe welcome to my website. It started out as a university module and has not been used since I finished uni. Until now.
As a web designer, I am always trying to improve my skills and have recently I have become interested in SEO. Particularly the competitiveness of it. I have been inspired by someone in Manchester who is (or at least claims to be) a novice in SEO.
It has taken them less than a year to climb to the top of the Google rankings for the search term SEO Manchester. I intend to use this website to do the same for the search term "SEO Ilkeston". Click the link to see my SEO Ilkeston experiment updates.

SEO Ilkeston Experiment
I will just start by giving a short introduction to what the SEO Ilkeston experiment is all about.
After I took a course on SEO at college, I found that nobody really knows what will make 100% successful SEO because the search engines don't tell us.
There is loads of advise readily available but I want to see the proof in the pudding. I know that there will always be mths about things people cannot explain and I want to eliminate these myths as they will cause me to waste an awful lot of time.
So every couple of months I am going to use different SEO techniques and then search for "SEO Ilkeston" in Google.
As you may know, "SEO Ilkeston" is a pretty competitive search term and the other people using it will be just the sort of people who know exactly what they're doing.
I am going to find it interesting to see how i do in the chace for rankings in the term SEO Ilkeston and what techniques seem to be the most useful.
I want to get as high as possible, preferably page one to enhance my credibility as an SEO consultant and be up there with the big companies of SEO in Ilkeston.
