Web Design and SEO Long Eaton
Hello and welcome to the re-written version of my website. My name is Michael kehoe and I first built this site as a university project. It hasn't relly been used since I finished uni. Until now.
Foe the last five years I have been studying and working in web design. Recently I have found my self becoming more interesed in SEO. I like the competitiveness of it, and someone in Manchester who is (or at least claims to be) a novice in SEO has given me an idea.
This person has managed to get to the top of the Google rankings for the search term SEO Manchester in under a year. My idea is to do te same with this website for the search term "SEO Long Eaton". SEO Long Eaton Experiment
Let me first quickly introduce the idea of the SEO Long Eaton experiment then we shall start.
Having recently taken a course on SEO at college I realised that nobody can really tell you what will make successful SEO because the search engines don't give us that information.
It is easy to find a lo of information about it but I want to see whether these things actually work. As with pretty much all things that we do not know about, there are several myths. The more of these myths I can eliminate, te more time I will save in the future.
So I am going to keep changing the SEO techniques I use in this website and then search for "SEO Long Eaton" in Google.
As you would probably have guessed, "SEO Long Eaton" is quite a competitive search term and the people competing for it will be just the sort of people who know exactly what they're doing.
So it will be an interesting experiment to see how I do with my website for the term SEO Long Eaton and also the best techniques for SEO.
I will gain more credibility as an SEO consultant the higher I get. I am hoping to get on to page one to show I can cut it at the top with the big boys of SEO in Long Eaton.
