Hello and welcome to the website of Michael Kehoe. It originated as a university project and hasn’t really been used since I finished uni. Until now.
I am a web designer and have become interested in SEO. The competitive aspect of it is something that appeals to me, When I saw the website of a novice SEO consultant in Manchester, I was inspired.

You must have noticed! These days every other person you meet regularly surf the internet in their mobile phone. Many of them don't need the internet at home because they have it on their phones.
To capitalise on this market you need to make sure your site is WAP friendly. A surprising amount of companies are yet to do this.

SEO Newark Experiment
Before I start, just a quick intoroduction to what the SEO Newark experiment is all about.
I have taken a college course on advanced SEO at and I found that nobody really knows what will make successful SEO as the search engines wont tell us.
There are plenty of people with plenty of advise but I want to see how useful this advise actually is. Because as with anything that we do not know about, several myths start to appear. These can end up causing a lot of wasted time and I would like to eliminate as many as I can.
So the plan is to add or take away different SEO techniques and then search for "SEO Newark" in Google.
As you can imagine, the people I will be competing against will know exactly what they are doing and SEO Newark is quite a competitive search term.
So it will be interesting to see how the race for rankings in the term SEO Newark plays out and also what SEO techniques are the most effective.
I am hoping to get as high as possible to prove my credentials as an SEO consultant and show I can compete against the key players of SEO in Newark.
